Summary: The Marketing Communications Manager drives the development and execution of marketing communications programs to further sales objectives and increase mindshare and awareness for Envision. This position translates strategies into an actionable integrated communications plan and manages all aspects of implementation, including copy writing, collateral content, web presence, advertising, and customer and channel partner marketing. An ability to understand marketing metrics and develop a plan for meeting them is essential for success in this position. The MarCom Manager is responsible for PR initiatives, including press releases topics, pitching to press contacts, byline content, customer case studies and social media initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience as a marketing communications professional
  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in marketing communications
  • Outstanding writing, editing and communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Well organized, detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment
  • Demonstrated delivery of world class materials, collateral, presentations, advertising, etc
  • Strong MS Office Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Bachelors degree required

Responsibilities:

  • Manage MarCom plan deliverables to budget
  • Provide initiative, creativity and content for marketing collateral. Manage process from concept to completion. Create collateral, talking points and all communications
  • Develop annual event strategies for web events, tradeshows and annual customer event. Execute event plan from concept to completion. Manage show budgets and pre and post show marketing activities. Ensure all logistics, sponsorships etc. meet strategic goals for tradeshows. Book speakers, create presentations and manage speaker logistics.
  • Author, edit and proofread marketing materials and web site content. Contribute strong copywriting and editing skills for a variety of print materials, from news releases and media advisories, to brochures and customer correspondence, customer presentations, and other projects
  • Manage all PR activities and manage Envision PR Contractor to determine press release topics, editorial calendars, pitching to the media and posting press releases
  • Create and execute all marketing and promotion plans for product launches, events and vertical campaigns
  • Manage the Marketing Communications Coordinator and other MarCom team members to meet organizational and department objectives.
