Summary: The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will create and maintain the business plan for products and markets Envision serves. In this role, s/he will articulate the company's distinctive competence and the product's unique advantages. In support of the business case, the PMM will perform qualitative and quantitative research with existing customers, analysts, competitors and potential prospects. In addition, the PMM will perform sales, trend, and profitability analysis working with sales, service and sales operations. As the key business manager on the product, the PMM will interface with industry thought leaders and strategic partners. The PMM will work with decision makers in marketing communications and sales management to ensure that the product is correctly communicated to the market. Further, the PMM will work collaboratively with Envision Engineering to create and drive a winning product roadmap.
Qualifications:

Self starter with strong vision and ability to articulate that vision to any stakeholder

Minimum of five years experience in Product Marketing/Management

Very strong public speaking and presentation skills, with proven ability to put together and articulate relevant and effective stories with message delivery

Technically proficient using Web-based technologies, understanding SaaS cloud technology and go to market strategies

Must have excellent interpersonal skills to clearly translate technical ideas into marketing & sales speak

Proven ability to work with customers and monitor market trends to help define future product requirements

Previous experience writing product and sales collateral and working with various internal groups

Results-oriented individual with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude and demonstrated pattern of accountable decision making

Experience working with multiple product lines simultaneously

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering

Willingness to travel (anticipate 30%)

Experience in CRM and/or contact center space a plus
Responsibilities:
-
Manage Go-to-Market strategy, including product justification, market sizing, sales training, analyst and press evangelism, pricing, positioning and launch planning and execution

Manage market and customer interaction/analysis to influence product direction

Work closely with customers and market leaders including analysts to ensure proper product positioning

Develop product market requirements

Work with Product Management and Engineering counterparts to develop, prioritize and define product release requirements

Develop marketing communications strategies, product positioning, key benefits, and target customer messaging

Serve as the internal and external evangelist/SME for product offerings, working extensively with Sales, Channel partners and key customers

Perform analyses and make strategic recommendations around buy vs. build decisions in regards to embedding or reselling third party products

Perform satisfaction and specific business area surveys with customers
